2 C brown beans
1/4 C brown sugar
2 t vinegar
1 T butter
1 tsp salt
1 stick cinnamon
Recipe
Wash beans and soak overnight. Drain. Put on to boil in cold water and simmer 3 hours, or until tender. Adding more water as necessary. When done add rest of ingredients, serve hot. This is a favorite Swedish dish and is often served at the Smorgasbord.
