Chicken Liver Stroganoff

2 cups thinly sliced onion
1/4 cup butter or margarine
1/2 pound chicken livers, halved
1 tablespoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon salt
Dash pepper
1 cup dairy sour cream
Hot cooked rice
Recipe
Cook onion in butter until just tender. Add chicken livers. Season with paprika, salt, and pepper. Slowly brown livers. Cover and cook over low heat 10 minutes or till livers are tender. Add sour cream; heat through. Serve over hot cooked rice. Garnish with parsley, if desired. Makes 4 servings.
