WAIKIKI MEATBALLS

List of Ingredients
1-1/2 pounds ground beef
2/3 C cracker or fine bread crumbs
1/3 C minced onion
1-1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ginger
1/4 C milk
1 egg
Sauce;
2 T cornstarch
1/2 C packed brown sugar
13-1/2 ounce pineapple tidbits with reserved syrup
1/3 C vinegar
1 T soy sauce
1/3 c chopped green pepperRecipe
Mix and shape meatballs in rounded tablesoon size. Brown and cook. Remove from pan, keep warm. Discard fat. Make sauce. Mix cornstarch and sugar. Stir in syrup, vinegar and soy sauce. Stir until smooth. Pour into skillet. Thicken over medium heat. Boil one minute. Add meatballs, pineapple and green pepper. Heat through.
