Herb-Wine Marinade for red meats

List of Ingredients
3/4 C red wine
1/3 C oil
3 T wine vinegar
1/4 C tomato juice
3 garlic cloves, pressed
1 T sugar
3/4 tsp salt
3 bay leaves
1 tsp dried thyme
1/2 tsp sageRecipe
In a saucepan, mix well and bring to a boil. Stir thoroughly and let the mixture cool before pouring it over the meat. Before using for basting, bring to a boil and discard bay leaves.
