    Spareribs Aloha, Baked

    List of Ingredients

    3 pounds lean spareribs
    salt and pepper
    1/2 C finely diced onion
    1/4 C diced bell pepper
    2 8-oz cans tomato sauce
    1/3 C cider vinegar
    1 T worcestershire shire
    1/4 C brown sugar
    1/2 tsp dry mustard
    1 #2 can pineapple chunks

    Recipe

    Cut meat after every third rib, about halfway through strip. season with salt and pepper. Place in a shallow roasting pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes to 1 hour and 30 minutes. Drain off excess fat. Mix remaining ingredients and let stand to blend flavors, while ribs are baking. Pour over ribs and bake 45 minutes-1 hour longer, basting frequently and turning ribs to coat with sauce.
