    Liver, Braised

    Recipe Introduction

    Serves 6.

    List of Ingredients

    2 pounds beef or pork liver
    4 slices bacon
    1 onion, sliced
    2 tsp worcestershire sauce
    2 T catsup
    1 T chopped green pepper
    salt
    pepper
    hot water

    Recipe

    Place liver in greased baking dish and cover with bacon. Add remaining ingredients, using enough hot water to nearly cover. Cover and cook in slow oven (300 degrees F.) about 1 1/2 hours. Remove cover for last 15 minutes to brown the bacon.
