Beef Sirloin Tips, Braised

List of Ingredients
2 T butter
2 pounds sirloin, in 1 inch cubes
10 1/2 oz beef consomme
1/3 C burgundy
2 T soy sauce
1 garlic clove
onion, to taste, diced
2 T cornstarch
1/4 C water
4 C cooked rice
Recipe
Melt butter in a large skillet and brown meat. Add consomme, wine, soy sauce, garlic and onion. Heat to boiling. Reduce to a simmer, cover and cook until beef is tender.
Blend cornstarch and water, gradually add to the stew, cook, stirring constantly until thick. Serve over rice
Personal note;
Broad noodles rather than rice.
