    1/2 pound ground beef
    1/2 pound ground pork
    1/4 tsp pepper
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp nutmeg
    1 T oil
    3/4 C flour
    1 egg
    1/2 C milk
    1/4 tsp salt

    Recipe



    Mix the first 5 ingredients together. Form into small patties about 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
    Place the oil in a large coffee cake tin and heat.Place the patties in the oil and brown on both sides. Remove from heat.
    Make a batter of the remaining ingredients. Set aside for about 30 minutes, or until the patties are thoroughly cooled. Pour the batter over the patties and place in a 350 degree oven for 30 minutes, or until outer edges are well browned.
