List of Ingredients
2 pounds ground beef
2 pounds ground pork
1 1/2 C chopped onion
2 thin 7x7 inch matzos
3 eggs
1 C coarsely chopped parsley
2 tsp salt, to taste
1/2 tsp pepper
1 tsp allspice
3 T minced garlic
2 tsp rubbed sage
2 tsp thyme
1 tsp ground coriander
2 tsp paprika
Recipe
Place the matzos in a bag, break and crush them, then roll them with a rolling pin until crushed about the size of rolled oats and smaller. Combine all ingredients well. Makes 2 loaves. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 45 minutes-1 hour. Freeze 1 loaf if desired, or make some into patties for breakfast, or to use in turnovers. (add 1 cup sauteed, shredded cabbage for turnovers.
