List of Ingredients
2 C flour
1 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 T melted fat
1 1/2 C cold waterRecipe
Mix together to a dough. Roll out thin. Cut into squares. Punch holes in centers with a knife. Drop into hot fat and turn when golden brown.
VAR;
Use above recipe, but omit the fat and add 1/2 C powdered milk and 1 T sugar. Reduce water (warm) to 1 C for a soft dough. Roll out to a 6-8 inch circle, very thin. Quick fry at 275 degrees F. in fat 2 1/2 -3 inches deep.
Drain on absorbent paper. While warm dust with powdered sugar.
