    6 T rice
    4 C milk
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 C sweet cream, scalded
    1 T sugar

    Recipe



    wash rice well. Scald milk and add rice and salt. Cook in double boiler until done, adding more milk if porridge gets too thick. When rice is done add cream and sugar. Serve hot with sugar, cinnamon and melted butter.
