Recipe Introduction
This is a shortbread made with butter and cut into oblongs.
List of Ingredients
3/4 pound butter
6 oz sugar
1 pound flourRecipe
Cream butter. While beating, gradually add sugar. Work in the flour, using fingers. Press into buttered pan to 1/2 inch thickness. prick with a fork all over. Bake in a moderate oven for 35 minutes. Cool, slightly and cut into oblongs.
