Recipe Introduction


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.


List of Ingredients




1 C brown sugar
1/2 C honey
3/4 C shortening
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 C flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
3 C rolled oats

Recipe



Beat together the sugar, honey, shortening, egg and vanilla.

Sift together the dry ingredients. Add to the creamed mixture. Stir in oats.

Drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350 until lightly browned.

Add nuts, raisins or chocolate pieces if desired.
