3 T butter
2/3 C sugar
juice of 1 orange
Grated rind of 1 orange
few grains salt
1 3/4 C flour

Recipe



Cream butter and rind. Gradually beat in sugar. Continue beating and add salt, orange juice and flour, a little at a time.

On floured board, pat and roll to 1/8th inch thickness. Cut into circles.

Butter a paper and place it on the bake sheet. Add cookies and bake in a moderate oven.
