preheat oven to 325 degrees F.


List of Ingredients




1 C lard
1 C sugar
2 egg yolks
grated rind of 1 lemon
4 C flour
sweet grape wine

Recipe



To flour and sugar add lard with a pastry blender. Add lemon juice, rind and egg yolks. Add enough grape wine to make a manageable dough. Divide in half. Roll out to fit 9 inch square pans, saving enough for lattice tops. (should be thicker than pie dough).
Mix together strawberry and raspberry jelly. Spread evenly over dough, about 1/4 inch thick. Make lattice strips for top. Bake at 325 degrees F. 30-45 minutes. Remove from oven when golden brown. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut into squares or diamonds.
