    Recipe Introduction


    5 single crusts or 2 double crusts.

    List of Ingredients




    4 C pastry flour
    2 tsp salt
    1 C cold fat
    1/3 C evaporated milk diluted with water (2/3 C)

    Recipe



    Sift flour then measure. Resift with salt. Work fat into flour with fingers until a dry appearance, like cornmeal. Add sufficient milk and water combined, with a fork, to make a soft, rollable dough.
    When baking, following recipe for pie filling or as crust on meats, etc... Cover for part of the time with a foil tent, as the milk browns it faster.
