    List of Ingredients


    • 2 1/4 C all-purpose
    • 1 tsp salt
    • 3/4 C chilled natural lard (leaf lard)
    • 1/3 C ice water


    Instructions


    1. Combine 2 cups flour and the salt. Cut lard into the flour with a pastry blender or 2 knives, until lard is pea sized, Set aside

    2. In a small bowl, combine remaining 1/4 C flour and the water and whisk until smooth. Pour into lard mixture and stir with a fork just until ingredients are combined.

    3. Divide dough in half and shape into thin disks. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill at least 1 hour or overnight
