List of Ingredients
- 2 1/4 C all-purpose
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 C chilled natural lard (leaf lard)
- 1/3 C ice water
Instructions
- Combine 2 cups flour and the salt. Cut lard into the flour with a pastry blender or 2 knives, until lard is pea sized, Set aside
- In a small bowl, combine remaining 1/4 C flour and the water and whisk until smooth. Pour into lard mixture and stir with a fork just until ingredients are combined.
- Divide dough in half and shape into thin disks. Wrap in plastic wrap and chill at least 1 hour or overnight
