    Pastry, Whiskey Crust For Tarts or Turnovers

    List of Ingredients

    8 C sifted flour
    2 pounds butter
    1 C water
    1 egg
    1 tsp cream of tartar
    1 shot whiskey

    Recipe

    Mix water, egg and whiskey together. Combine flour, cream of tartar, and cut in the butter. Mix in the whiskey mixture with 2 forks. Chill several hours. Roll thin and use for small tarts or turnovers.
