List of Ingredients




3 T butter
3 C coarsely chopped mushrooms
1 1/2 C brown sauce
4 C left over mashed potatoes
1 egg, beaten
salt to taste
pepper to taste
1/2 C grated cheese

Recipe



Melt the butter, add the mushrooms and saute until browned. Add the brown sauce and reduce heat to low.
Combine the mashed potatoes and egg. Season with salt and pepper. Butter a baking dish and cover bottom and sides with the mashed potatoes. Fill with the mushroom mixture. Cover the top with the remaining potato mixture and sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake at 375 degrees F. for 30 minutes, or until browned on top.
