Sweet Onion, Cheddar - Green Apple Tart

List of Ingredients
1 1/2 T butter
2 thinly sliced Walla Walla onions
2 1/2 Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced
1 T packed brown sugar
2 eggs
3/4 C half and half
1 tsp black pepper
1/4 C grated cheddar cheese
an 8 inch baked pie shell
Recipe
Saute the onions in butter, saute apples until onion is wilted, add brown sugar and saute until caramelized.
Lightly beat eggs, add half and half and pepper,
Place onion and apple mixture in pie shell, sprinkle with cheese. Pour egg mixture over. Bake 350 degrees F.
for 15-20 minutes
