    Veal Pot Pie

    Recipe Introduction

    Bake at 425 degrees.

    List of Ingredients

    2 1/2 pounds veal shoulder, cubed
    2 cups hot water
    Salt to taste
    Pepper to taste


    Recipe

    Cut veal in serving pieces. Dip in flour, season and brown well on all sides. Cover with water and simmer for 2 hours. Add vegetables of your choice, adding root vegetables like carrots after one hour and, potatoes or turnips fifteen minutes later, celery and onion fifteen minutes after that. Small vegetables can be added last, such as corn, frozen baby lima beans or peas. Serve as is or cool and put in a pie plate using a double crust. Bake at 425 degrees. one half hour.
