Recipe Introduction

Juneberry, shadbush, Saskatoon berry. Grows 15-20 foot tall. Apple service berry and grandiflora to 40 foot.

List of Ingredients

Berry used in pemmican, or added to soups and stews. Mildly sweet to neutral.
Basis for pies, jams and jellies. Wine. (contains pectin).
Pit contains cyanide-like toxins, destroyed by cooking or drying. (red berries).


Branch makes a good fishing rod.
