    2 lrg garlic cloves
    2/3 C pine nuts or walnuts
    20 sorrel leaves
    1/3 C olive oil
    1/4 tsp coarse salt
    1/2 C grated Parmigiano Reggiano

    Recipe



    Process garlic in food processor until minced. Add nuts and process until ground. add sorrel and process. Add olive oil and process until creamy. Stir in cheese. Serve with pasta. Makes about 1 cup.

    Wheat berries with pesto

    Use half the recipe for pesto (1/2 C) and cook 1/1/2 cups wheat berries (soaked overnight) in 3 to 3 ½ cups water, for 1 to 1 ½ hours. Drain and stir in pesto and 1 ½ cups halved cherry tomatoes.
