List of Ingredients
3 pound fryer, cut in serving pieces
1 1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp paprika
6 T butter
1/4 pound mushrooms, cut up
2 T flour
3 T sherry
2/3 C chicken consomme
12-15 oz artichoke heartsRecipe
Season the chicken with salt, pepper and paprika. Brown in 4 T butter. Arrange in a casserole dish.
Saute the mushrooms in the remaining 2 T butter, for 5 minutes. Add flour, consomme and sherry for sauce.
Arrange the artichoke hearts between the chicken pieces.
Pour sauce over and bake at 350 degrees F. for 40 minutes.
