    Linda K Ames New Orlean Lousiana 1973

    List of Ingredients

    1/2 of a large onion, chopped
    1/2 of a bell pepper, chopped
    1 C brown rice
    3 ****ake mushrooms, chopped
    9 green olives, chopped
    1/3 of a small can of tomato paste
    2 C water
    1 bay leaf
    1/2 tsp thyme
    3 sprgs parsley, chopped
    1 celery leaf, minced fine
    1 clove garlic, minced fine
    1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
    salt and pepper to taste

    Recipe

    Saute the onion and bell pepper. Combine all in heat proof casserole dish. Cover with foil. Bake at 325 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
