    List of Ingredients

    1 8-oz. can mushrooms
    1 sm. can bamboo shoots
    1 can bean sprouts
    11/4 lb. veal steak, cubed
    1/2 lb. pork steak, cubed
    3 C finely chopped celery
    2 C finely chopped onions
    1 sm. can sliced water chestnuts, drained
    4 tsp. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    3 tbsp. soy sauce

    Recipe

    Drain liquid from mushrooms bamboo shoots and bean sprouts, reserving liquids. Add enough water to reserved liquid to measure 1 3/4 cups. Saute veal and pork in skillet Add celery, onions and reserved liquids. Cook over low heat for 35 minutes. Stir into meat mixture with remaining vegetables. Combine flour, salt 2 tablespoons water and soy sauce in bowl. Stir to smooth paste. Add to meat Stirring to thicken. Serve with rice.
