List of Ingredients
1 lb. chopped leftover meat
1 1/2 cups finely shredded cabbage
1 medium red onion, chopped
2 celery stalks, chopped
1/4 cup chopped green pepper
1 cup tomato sauce
3 T. brown sugar
2 T. lemon juice
1 T. cider vinegar
1 T. grainy mustard
1 tsp. salt
pepper to taste
8 Kaiser rolls
Recipe
In a large skillet, cook meat (if not already cooked), cabbage, onion, celery, green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink; drain.
Stir in tomato sauce, brown sugar, lemon juice, vinegar, mustard, salt, pepper. Cover, simmer 10 minutes or until cabbage is tender.
Spoon 1/2 cup onto each roll.
