Recipe Introduction
Makes 2 sandwiches.
List of Ingredients
2-3 T butter
1 roasted garlic clove
4 slices of rustic bread or sourdough,thick sliced
rib meat,cooked and sliced almost paper thin
2 slices Monterey jack cheese
Mesclun mix, about a handful
2 slices Spanish onion
Recipe
Remove the meat from the ribs. Cut off all sinewy tissue and fat. Slice the meat as thin as possible.
You can toast the bread if desired. Spread slices of bread with butter. Spread 2 slices of the bread with mashed, roasted garlic. (mash it with a fork).
loosely pile the meat on 2 slices of bread, add the cheese and onion. If desired you can add hot pepper flakes, green chilies, or shredded jalapeno.
Pile mesclun mix on and top with remaining bread slices.
Var: grainy mustard if desired.
