    3/4 C shoyu
    3/4 C firmly packed brown sugar
    1/2 inch piece ginger, peeled and thinly sliced
    2 cloves garlic, pressed

    Recipe



    Bring all to a boil. Either simmer meat in it, or cool and use it as a marinade.
