Take 2 cups raspberries and force them through a food mill or sieve. Blend in half a cup of sugar and set aside.
Blend to a smooth paste one and one half teaspoons cornstarch and 1 tablespoon water. Thoroughly blend into berry mixture. Stirring gently and constantly, bring rapidly to boiling. Stir and boil three minutes on medium heat. Set aside to cool. Chill. Makes one cup.
