    Fish
    3 quarts water
    1/3 C vinegar
    1 onion, minced
    cornstarch
    1C sour cream
    sugar
    dash nutmeg
    shredded carrots

    Recipe



    Cut fish into pieces for serving. Boil in water, vinegar,and onion. Cook about 15 minutes or until fish is done. Strain stock and thicken slightly with cornstarch paste and stir until smooth. Add sour cream and a little sugar as desired. season with nutmeg or not. Shredded carrots may also be added and cooked a few minutes.
