3 C potato water
1 cake yeast
flour enough to make a soft sponge
Combine above and let rise overnight.
1 C shortening
1/2 C sweet cream
1 egg yolk
1 T salt

Next morning add the shortening, cream, yolk, salt and enough flour to make a soft dough. Knead down once and let rise. Make into buns. let rise 1-1 1/2 hours.
Roll each bun as thin as possible on corn meal coated board, using a corrugated rolling pin. Bake in a hot oven turning frequently.
