List of Ingredients
4 C grated raw potato
1/2 C fresh, salt pork or a meaty ham shank
beef broth
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
1 C white flour
1 C graham
Recipe
Dice pork. Mix all ingredients except pork, adding enough flour to keep from sticking. shape into balls with the hands, Put pieces of pork in center of each. Drop into boiling broth, or ham stock. cover and boil 1 hour. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking to bottom of kettle. Remove as soon as done. Serve hot with butter.(or butter and syrup)
