3 C liver
1 C ham or pork
salt
pepper
1 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp mace
1 C rice
3 pints milk
1 C treacle or golden syrup
3/4 C sultanas
1 medium onionRecipe
Cook the rice in milk until nearly done. Cool. Grind meat and onion. Mix all ingredients and place in buttered casserole. Bake until firm, about 1 hour. Serve hot with melted butter or lingonberries.
