    Lapland reindeer roast

    You need:
    1 kg reindeer roast meat (shredded)
    3 tablespoons butter
    2 dl water
    1,5 teaspoons salt
    0,5 dl strong coffee

    Method:
    1. Melt the butter in casserole dish. Add reindeer meat strips in small amounts and brown. Stir well.
    2. When you have completely browned all the meat, pour in water and add salt. Again – stir well.
    3. Add the coffee (it tenders the meat), reduce heat, cover the stew and leave to simmer for about an hour.

    Serve with mashed potatoes, lingonberry jam and pickle.
