    6 raw potatoes
    1 C milk
    1/4 C flour
    1/4 tsp nutmeg
    salt
    pepper
    1/2 C diced salt pork, separated

    Recipe



    Peel potatoes and put through a food chopper. Add milk, flour and flour and spices. Add salt pork,(or bacon) reserving some for top. Pour into a buttered baking dish. Add rest of salt pork. Bake in moderate oven about 1 hour or until it becomes crusty on top. Cut into squares and serve with melted butter and syrup.
