4 qts milk
12 drops rennet
3 eggs, well beaten
1/2 C sour cream
2 T sugarRecipe
Scald milk, cool to lukewarm, add rennet and mix well. Combine rest of ingredients and add milk, stirring until well blended. Set in a warm place for 24 hours. Strain through cheese cloth to remove whey. Drain whey until fairly dry. Remove curd, season with sugar. Add a little cream and beat until smooth. May be flavored with almond or vanilla, if desired.
