Sliced baked potatoes

Peel some raw potatoes and cut them in thin slices. Grease a pie dish, put a layer of potatoes at the bottom of the dish. Sprinkle with salt and grated cheese, then put another layer of potatoes and continue like this until the dish is full. The last layer should be cheese and a few knobs of butter. Place the dish in a warm oven and bake until the potatoes are done. this will take about an hour.
