    Smoked Salmon, sour cream and cucumber

    List of Ingredients


    • 2 medium size cucumbers
    • 1/4 C salt
    • 1/2 C sour cream
    • 2 T vinegar
    • 1 1/2 T minced chives
    • 3/4 tsp dried dill weed
    • 1 tsp pepper
    • dash hot pepper sauce
    • Smoked salmon, thinly sliced
    • Buttered pumpernickle bread


    Instructions


    1. Peel cucumbers, slice thinly and sprinkle with salt. Let stand a few minutes, rinse with cold water, drain well.

    2. Mix sour cream with vinegar, chives, dill seed, salt, pepper and pepper sauce.

    3. Combine with cucumber slices in a bowl. Chill 2-3 hours.

    4. Serve with thin slices of smoked salmon and triangles of buttered pupernickle bread.
