    Boil and chop finely half a pound of spinach leaves. Cook a cupful of rice until soft, mix with the spinach, a tablespoon of drippings or bacon fat, 2 eggs, salt and pepper to taste. Put in a pie dish and bake in a warm oven for half an hour.
