Cream of Broccoli Soup

makes 6 cups.
List of Ingredients
1 3/4 C chicken broth
20 oz chopped, frozen broccoli
1 small bay leaf
1/4 C flour
1/4 C butter
1/4 tsp salt
dash pepper
2 C milk
Recipe
Boil the broth and half of the broccoli with the bay leaf. Simmer 5 minutes until the broccoli is tender.
Make a light sauce of remaining ingredients and invert into soup.
Remove the bay leaf, puree soup. Add rest of broccoli. Reheat.
