6 C chopped lettuce
1 c diced carrots
1/2 C chopped onion
4 T butter
2 C chicken broth
2 T flour
2 C half and half
1 T lemon juice
salt
1 C oysters or crab meatRecipe
Cook the vegetables in 1/2 of the broth until they are tender. Puree. Use the butter, 1/2 of broth and flour to make a sauce for thickening the soup.
