    Recipe Introduction

    To puree or not to puree ?

    List of Ingredients

    2 C brown-orange lentils
    4 C water
    2 onions, chopped
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2-4 vegetable bouillon
    1 bunch radishes, in quarters or eights
    4 stalks celery, small dice
    1 C apple sauce
    4 sprigs parsley, minced
    2 tsp garam masala
    juice of 1 lemon
    1 tsp hot paprika
    1 tsp poppy seed
    1 tsp hot paprika
    1 tsp turmeric
    pinch cinnamon
    1 tsp cumin seed
    1 tsp coriander
    4 cardamom seed


    Recipe

    Remove the seeds from the cardamom pods and grind in a mortar and pestle.
    Cook the lentils in the water for 10 minutes. Add rest of ingredients and cook another 15 minutes adding more water if necessary.
    Serve as is or puree.
