1/4 C diced salt pork
1 large onion, chopped fine
1 C water
1 C clam nectar
4 medium potatoes, diced
1 bay leaf
dash of tabasco
1 dozen clams, chopped
2 C milk
salt
pepper
Recipe
Fry salt pork, add onion and sate. Add water, potatoes, bay leaf, salt and pepper and tabasco. Cook until potatoes are tender. Add milk. bring to a boil and remove from heat. Add clams and nectar. Let set 5 minutes and serve hot.
