    List of Ingredients




    1 T fat
    1 1/2 C finely minced lettuce
    1 small onion, minced
    2 cloves garlic, pressed
    1/16 tsp cinnamon
    1/16 tsp allspice
    1 bay leaf
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
    2/3 C clover stems, leaves and flowers, finely chopped
    1 tsp lime juice
    2 C homemade mushroom soup
    2 C stock or broth
    2/3 C dock,in bite size pieces
    1 C chopped plantain
    2 C chopped dandelion leaves
    1 C sliced chard stems
    2 C spinach, puree

    Recipe



    Mince and chop the greens, onion and garlic. Heat the fat and saute the garlic, and onion. Add spices and clover. Cook 1 minute. Add lime juice, Soup and half of the stock. (reserve 1 C). Cook 5 minutes. Add the greens, except for the spinach.
    Puree the spinach in the 1 C stock. Add it to the soup. Cook at a simmer until the greens are tender, 20-30 minutes. Remove the bay leaf.
    Serve hot.

    The spinach I used was cooked, if using raw spinach use 4 C and puree in 2 C stock, or the mushroom soup, (in 2 or more batches) it won't all fit into the blender.

    You can also puree the mushroom soup, but if you are using woodland mushrooms, don't puree. They are pleasant in small dice.
