List of Ingredients
- 2 T butter
- 6 scallions with tops, minced
- 1/2 C shredded leafy lettuce
- 1 C shredded spinach
- 1/2 C chopped watercress
- 1/2 tsp dried chervil
- 2 tsp sugar (optional)
- 6 C chicken broth
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 C light cream
Instructions
- Saute scallion. add next four ingredients and simmer, covered for ten minutes.
- Add sugar, broth, salt and pepper and simmer, covered for one half hour.
- Add cream and just heat through.
