    Soup, Swiss Chard

    List of Ingredients


    • 1 bunch Swiss chard
    • 1/4 C onion, chopped
    • 4 medium potatoes
    • 1 quart milk
    • 1 T butter
    • instant milk


    Instructions


    1. Cut potatoes in 1/4 inch cube. cook until almost tender in a small amount of water, with the onion.

    2. Wash and chop the Swiss chard, stems and all. Add to potatoes, cook until stems are tender. Drain and reserve liquid.

    3. Add powdered milk(1 1/2 cups for each 3 3/4 cups of liquid). Stir until dissolved. Return to pan with the butter and reheat.
