Baked Collard

Serves 6-Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
List of Ingredients
2 pounds collard greens, shredded
1/2 pound bacon
2 onions sliced into rings
1 1/2 C water, boiling
salt
pepper
cider vinegar
Recipe
Fry bacon crisp. Remove from pan and set aside. Saute onions until tender, together with shredded collards, in bacon fat.
Season with salt ans pepper. Place into casserole dish and pour boiling water over. cover and bake at 350 degrees F. for half an hour.
Stir in crumbled bacon and enough vinegar (or pickle juice) to personal taste.
