    4 squares (1 oz each) unsweetened chocolate
    1/2 C butter
    2 2/3 C powdered sugar
    1 egg
    6 T water
    2 tsp vanilla extract
    1/8 tsp salt

    Recipe



    In top of a double boiler, melt chocolate and butter, over simmering water. Stir in sugar, then the egg, water, extract and salt.
    Place top of double boiler in ice water. Beat with mixer for 5 minutes, or to a spreading consistency.
