Serves 6-8.
List of Ingredients
3 T unflavored gelatin
1 1/2 C sugar
1/8 tsp salt
3 C water
1 C + 2 T sherry
3/4 C strained orange juice
1/3 C strained lemon juice
9 drops red food color
Recipe
Combine gelatin, sugar and salt in a large saucepan. Blend thoroughly. Add the water, on medium heat, stirring until dissolved. Remove from heat and add sherry, orange and lemon juice (food color if using). Pour into a fancy mold rinsed in cold water. Chill until firm. Unmold onto chilled plate.
